A Second Life for Every Piece

Furniture With Purpose

When schools and offices upgrade their furniture, the old pieces don't have to end up in a landfill. Through our partnership with IRN, The Reuse Network, and our own local outreach, KRS gives retired school furniture a second life — in classrooms around the world and right here in west Michigan.

Whether the furniture is heading overseas to support classrooms in developing nations, distributed to organizations across the country, or reused right here in our local community, we make sure every piece finds a meaningful new home.

Local

International

Shipping containers of classroom furniture reach schools in east Africa and other developing regions, where desks and chairs are often in short supply.

National

Through IRN's network, furniture moves across the United States to nonprofits, community centers, and smaller districts that can put it to work.

Local

Right here in west Michigan, our team reaches out directly to churches, community spaces, and local organizations to place used furniture where it's needed most.

How We Make It Happen

Most of our international and national reuse work runs through IRN, The Reuse Network. Everything local is handled by our own team reaching out to west Michigan schools and organizations directly.
